Good Cop Bad Cop Productions is an award winning animation studio based in Wakefield, West Yorkshire. Dynamic duo Charlotte Blacker and Mark Taylor partnered up on several projects together before co-founding Good Cop Bad Cop in 2014. Since then our films have been featured at several international film festivals and we continue to create our own pieces as well as working hard to create unique, individual animations for our clients.
Charlotte began her animation career in 2010 winning a Royal Television Society Award for her debut film The Little Red Plane. Since that point Charlotte has had several of her films shown at international festivals and has worked with a variety of clients both nationally and internationally.
Passionate about narrative and a stickler for detail, Charlotte creates memorable characters, sets and stories that engage and delight her audience. You will often find her surrounded by wool and sometimes in the ideas fort (under the animation stage in the studio).
Mark first started working with Charlotte back in 2009 on the sound design for The Little Red Plane and had his living room invaded for the filming of Stompy The Bear. Mark is the problem solver for Good Cop Bad Cop insisting that there is a solution to everything and annoyingly being proven right. Happiest in the workshop, Mark will find the most efficient, logical way around every job.
Studio grump, tech nerd and wrangler of flighty creative types, Mark is the stern face of Good Cop Bad Cop…although will fold occasionally when bribed with doughnuts.
